After Pavel Zacha fought to avenge an early hit on David Pastrnak, Brad Marchand jumped in to defend his teammate at the end of the first period.

During the first period, Greer drilled former Bruins teammate David Pastrnak with a hit from behind. He did not receive a penalty for the hit. Bruins forward Pavel Zacha immediately stood up for Pastrnak following the hit and fought Greer.

David Pastrnak scored 3:07 into overtime, and the Boston Bruins beat the Los Angeles Kings 2-1. It was Pastrnak’s third goal in Boston’s first three games.
