Firefighters in D.C. said a woman was taken to the hospital after a vehicle crashed into a building, causing it to collapse and catch fire Thursday morning.

A vehicle caught fire following a collision in the early hours of Boxing Day this morning in Somerset. At 4.19am, Devon and Somerset Fire & Rescue reported that a single vehicle road traffic collision had left a car on fire in Yeovil.

The Hyundai was driving down Guthrie Highway when the brakes caught fire, according to MCFS. The driver pumped the brakes trying to stop as she pulled in the parking lot, and the car was on fire when it crashed into the awning. The driver escaped without injury.
