George Clooney has learned a lot about relationships over the years, especially from mistakes he made in his twenties. Clooney admitted his 17-year age difference with wife Amal Clooney initially made him unsure of their long-term compatibility.

George Clooney has offered a rare insight into his feelings about the age gap between him and his wife Amal Clooney. The 63- year-old Hollywood star first met Amal, 47, in 2013- and they went on to marry in 2014 before welcoming twins Alexander and Ella in 2017,

Amal and George first met in July 2013, introduced by a mutual friend over dinner at his home in Lake Como, and became engaged in April of the following year. George and Amal were married in September 2014 and welcomed twins Alexander and Ella, 7, in June 2017.
