Team Robinson defeats Team Gaither, 17-14, at the 2025 Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl in New Orleans, LA. Florida A&M quarterback Daniel Richardson was named the HBCU Legacy Bowl's Offensive MVP, completing 9 of 12 passes for 110 yards and one touchdown.

The Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl came down to the wire, but Most Valuable Players Daniel Richardson and Treqwan Thomas of Team Robinson did just enough to hold off the Team Gaither in the final minutes.

The 2025 Legacy Bowl marked the game’s fourth year in New Orleans at Tulane’s Yulman Stadium. Crawley completed 6-of-10 passes for 90 yards, including the game’s longest completion for 58 yards in a 17-14 Team Robinson win over Team Gaither.

Seven current NFL players participated in past HBCU Legacy Bowls, including a current Broncos pass rusher and an ex-Denver running back.
