In recent days, reports have surfaced that John Cena’s opponent for WWE WrestleMania 41 will likely be Logan Paul. Cena is gearing up to start his retirement tour, which will kick off in January. The 16-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion announced his plans to retire from the promotion in 2025.

According to a new report from WrestleVotes Radio, Paul does not seem to be a contender to face Cena at the Showcase of the Immortals. They reported the match has been “discussed,” but there has been “resounding disapproval from several within creative” regarding it.

2025 will be the final year of Cena’s in-ring career. He’s set to work around 36 dates for WWE from January through December. The first date on his retirement tour will be Raw’s Netflix premiere on January 6. WrestleMania 41 is being held in Las Vegas on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20.

John Cena at WrestleMania have, at the very least, been discussed. However, the idea has been met with resounding disapproval from several within creative. The general feeling is that this shouldn't be Cena's final WrestleMania match.
