The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says crews were called to the area of Washington Avenue and Race Street around 7:20 a.m. By the time they arrived, the house was already fully involved. Video released by KDPS shows the house engulfed in bright orange and white flames and crews spraying water on the fire.

By the time fire crews were able to get to the scene at Washington Avenue and Race Street they said the fire was fully involved.
