Keionte Scott, who appeared in 27 games for Auburn from 2022-24, shared this week that he has entered the transfer portal. Scott’s decision came after an NCAA ruling that gave former JUCO players an extra season of eligibility was implemented. Scott joined Auburn’s roster in 2022 after playing one season at Snow College in Utah.

Auburn cornerback Keionte Scott has entered the transfer portal as a graduate transfer according to On3’s Pete Nakos. Scott is one of several players across the country who now will have an extra year of eligibily due to their time in JUCO.

Keionte Scott entered the transfer portal, taking advantage of the blanket waiver granting an additional year of eligibility for current NCAA Division I senior athletes who previously spent one season in junior college or at an NAIA school. The news of Scott’s entrance into the portal was first reported by Christian Clemente of 247Sports.

Keionte Scott is reportedly leaving the Plains after being a mainstay in Auburn's secondary and special teams' unit for the past 3 years.

Tawee Walker was a starter for the Sooners when the 2023 season opened, but decided to transfer at the end of the year and then had a breakout campaign with Wisconsin.
