State-owned oil marketing companies reduced commercial cooking gas prices by ₹14 to ₹16 per cylinder. However, domestic cooking gas prices remain unchanged.

Jet fuel and commercial LPG prices were reduced in line with international benchmarks. ATF prices dropped by 1.5% in the national capital, with commercial LPG seeing its first reduction after consecutive hikes.

The price revisions for commercial LPG cylinders are indicative of global oil price fluctuations and exchange rate variations. However, it is pertinent to mention that the price of 14.2kg LPG cylinders remain the same despite these cuts. The new prices of 19kg LPG cylinders in other major cities are: Chennai- ₹1,966 and Kolkata - ₹1,911.

However, the price of the 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinders remains unchanged. On Wednesday, fuel (ATF) prices also dropped by 1.54 per cent.
