Erik and Lyle Menendez, who were sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for killing their parents in 1989, will continue to wait for their day in court after their resentencing hearing was pushed back for the second time.

The highly anticipated resentencing hearing for Lyle and Erik Menendez has been rescheduled due to the Los Angeles County wildfires.

Recently elected Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman said in a statement Friday that the hearing planned for Jan. 30 and 31 has been pushed to March 20 and 21 because the wildfires have interfered with preparations. The hearing had already been delayed from November.
