Almost two weeks after sustaining an eye injury from a July 4 fireworks-related incident, ex-Steeler Najee Harris has received an injury update courtesy of ESPN — and it’s looking like the new Chargers running back will start training camp on the non-football injury/illness list.
With some questions unanswered about Harris' status, general manager Joe Horitz spoke about how the Chargers are handling the situation. Horitz said on Wednesday that Harris is set to land on the NFI list, although he remained open-minded about his plans for the summer.
