Eight prospects the Bruins could target in the 2025 NHL Draft
The Bruins had the fifth-best odds at the No. 1 selection (8.5 percent) after putting together a 33-39-10 record, which was tied for last in the Eastern Conference. The franchise slipped to No. 7 when two clubs behind them at the start of the lottery — the Islanders and the Utah Hockey Club — jumped ahead because of fortuitous bounces.

After the Islanders, the San Jose Sharks landed the second pick while the Chicago Blackhawks will pick third. The Sharks own a top-five pick for the third straight season after selecting Macklin Celebrini with the top pick in 2024 and Will Smith with the No. 4 pick in 2023.
