Northwestern is staying at the Sheraton Hotel during the Big Ten tournament. The conference normally assigns hotels to teams by seeding, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Northwestern is a No. 13 seed. Collins, who held a 16-12 regular season record with Northwestern, ripped into the Big Ten conference for their hotel placement.

The night before opening the Big Ten tournament, the Wildcats were booked at a hotel where rooms didn't cool below 85 degrees, Collins said.

The Wildcats beat Minnesota in a Big Ten tournament first-round game on Wednesday and will face Wisconsin on Thursday.
