NORMAN, Okla. — Gabbie Garcia hit two of Oklahoma ‘s four home runs and the four-time defending national champion Sooners beat Alabama 13-2 in five innings on Saturday to win the Norman Super Regional and clinch a berth in the Women’s College World Series.

Oklahoma softball had a standout showing on D1Softball ’s 2025 All-American teams, with four players honored the most of any school. Senior pitcher Sam Landry and sophomore outfielder Kasidi Pickering earned First Team honors, while utility players Gabbie Garcia and Ella Parker made the Second Team.
While Oklahoma took the first game with a 5-1 win, Alabama pitcher Jocelyn Briski held the Sooners offense to two hits and one run off a solo home run, while the Crimson Tide secured the 6-1 victory with seven hits and two home runs by Kari Heivilin and Abby Duchscherer.
The 2-seeded Sooners are hoping to avenge their regular season loss to the 15-seeded Crimson Tide to get back to the Women's College World Series.
