Steve Sarkisian got everything he wanted on Saturday -- a Red River Rivalry victory and a little treat on a stick, too.

In his fourth year as the Longhorns’ head coach, Steve Sarkisian has learned a lot about being a Texan. However, the 50-year-old still hadn’t tried a Fletcher’s Corny Dog, one of the most beloved food items at the Texas State Fair.

In the historic Red River Rivalry matchup, the Texas Longhorns demolished the Oklahoma Sooners in a 34-3 blowout win. Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian reclaimed the Golden Hat and was very pleased with his team's defense while Oklahoma head coach Brent Venables was predictably disappointed.
