Bishop T.D. Jakes has announced that the position of senior pastor of the Potter's House in Dallas will be transferred to his daughter, Sarah Jakes Roberts, and son-in-law. The announcement came during Sunday morning's service.

T.D. Jakes, leader of popular Dallas megachurch Potter's House, said Sunday he would step down. Leadership of the nondenominational Christian church will pass to his daughter, Sarah Jakes Roberts, and son-in-law Touré Roberts,

Jakes' daughter, Sarah Jakes Roberts, and her husband Pastor Touré Roberts will assume senior pastoral roles later this year, marking a new chapter for the church.
