The Rookie season 7 finally circles back to one of the ABC police procedural TV show’s best and most important relationships in episode 9.

The ABC drama is moving up from the 10 p.m. EST timeslot to 9 p.m. EST, airing directly after “Will Trent.” While the full episode schedule has yet to be released, there are 10 episodes left in season 7 of “The Rookie,” based on TVLine ‘s reporting that the season consists of 18 total episodes. The season 7 finale is set to air on Tuesday, May 13.

On this week's new episode of "The Rookie," the team mobilizes to locate a suspect after a deadly series of events affects one of their own.

Seasons 1-7 of The Rookie are currently streaming on Hulu and Disney+. You can also purchase full seasons or individual episodes of the series on Amazon. The next new episode of The Rookie debuts Wednesday, March 12 on both Hulu and Disney+.
