The lucky lottery player said she stared at the winning ticket in disbelief, according to Virginia lottery officials.

A woman’s stop at a convenience store paid off big time, making her a millionaire. Jennifer Ivey of Ashburn went to the 7-Eleven, located at 25465 Pleasant Valley Rd. in Chantilly, and picked up a 100X the Money scratcher from the Virginia Lottery.

Denise Freeman won a $500,000 top prize from a $10 Money Multiplier ticket, marking the final top prize claimed in the game, the Virginia Lottery said in a March 5 news release. “I was shocked,” Freeman told the lottery while claiming her prize. She bought her ticket at a grocery store in Alexandria, the lottery said.
