Lake Coeur d’Alene will serve as the backdrop for one of North Idaho’s largest Fourth of July celebrations this Saturday.

The final Melaleuca Freedom Celebration went out with a bang as 18,915 firework shells lit up the sky over Snake River Landing Saturday night. People from all over the world gathered to watch the spectacular 31-minute display,

Pilot Butte is being prepared for Bend's annual Fourth of July fireworks show. It will feature more than 1,000 shells and a massive 12-inch finale shell creating a 1,200-foot diameter explosion. The display is scheduled for Saturday at 10 p.
