The 2025-26 season is just around the corner, and there's never been a better time to play ESPN Fantasy Hockey. Whether you're a new player or a grizzled vet, there is much to get excited about and plenty of resources to help with drafting your team and setting up your league.
Connor Hellebuyck broke the mold when he won the Hart Trophy for the 2024-25 NHL season. Not only did he become the first goaltender to win the award since Carey Price in 2015, but he was also the first true long shot to take home the honor since Taylor Hall did so in 2018.
There is little doubt that Adin Hill has had good numbers for Vegas in his three seasons in the desert. He had a 32-13-5 record last year with a 2.47 goals against average and a .906 save percentage. That last figure is solid, but it is not elite. He had a .909 save percentage in 2023-24, and a .915 mark in 2022-23.
The Wings' roster is highlighted by four of their recent first-round draft picks: Forwards Nate Danielson (2023, ninth overall), Michael Brandsegg-Nygard (2024, 15th overall) and Carter Bear (2025, 13th overall), along with defenseman Axel Sandin-Pellikka (2023, 17th overall).
J.T. Miller took a leave of absence, then was traded to the Rangers, due to irreconcilable differences with fellow star forward Elias Pettersson, who saw his production dip to 45 points after posting totals of 102 and 89 in the two previous seasons.
How will Kirill Kaprizov, Matt Boldy and the Wild fare this season, according to our bold predictions? Will Kaprizov sign a deal?
Baugh’s response: Someone has to play after Fox and Gavrikov, right? The Rangers gave up a decent pick to get Soucy (the No. 65 pick in the 2025 draft) and he will certainly get an opportunity to make that trade look better than it did in 2024-25.
