Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes didn’t run out of bounds on his 33-yard run against the San Francisco 49ers last weekend, and that’s caused something of a stir. Mahomes has more interceptions (eight) than touchdown passes (six) through his first six starts. However, the Chiefs acquired wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins in a trade with the Tennessee Titans Wednesday, and he should help the QB produce better numbers.

Without three of his best skill-position players, Mahomes threw for 331 yards by completing at least one pass to eight teammates.
