Raiders could display forward thinking by hiring Nate Scheelhaase
The Las Vegas Raiders have officially identified 11 candidates to be their next head coach. Well, 12 if you count a brief phone conversation with John Harbaugh. The most intriguing candidate on the Raiders' list may be Los Angeles Rams passing game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase.
According to Jordan Schultz, Minter has already been requested by four teams for head coach interviews, headlined by the Ravens, Raiders.
The Cardinals, Ravens, Raiders and Giants are the latest teams to request an interview with Chris Shula. More at PFR.
Albert Breer of SI.com reports that the Raiders will interview Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady and 49ers offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak on Sunday. They are also set to interview Rams assistants Mike LaFleur and Nate Scheelhaase on Saturday.
