NABLUS, November 21, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was wounded by Israeli special forces on Friday evening during a military incursion on a house in the village of Tell, located to west of the city of Nablus.

Elite special forces units from Greece and Cyprus as well as warships and helicopters from France, the U.S, Israel, Italy, and Egypt took part in a drill Wednesday simulating the hostile takeover of an offshore oil and gas drilling rig as part of the annual “Nemesis 2025” exercises.

The decision reflects a transition away from a state of high-intensity warfare, as the U.S.-brokered cease-fire in Gaza holds.

Israel took advantage of the fall of the Assad regime to expand the area of southern Syria it has occupied since 1967. With uprootings of olive trees, arbitrary arrests and mobile checkpoints, soldiers have imposed a similar regime to that enforced on the population of the Palestinian territory.
