The Edmonton Oilers’ season is on life support. Despite leading twice in Sunday night’s Game 4, the Oilers fell 4–3 in overtime to the Anaheim Ducks on a controversial goal that barely trickled across the line.

For a few years now, the Edmonton Oilers have had a simple approach to the playoffs – Connor McDavid scores and/or creates more goals than whatever team they’re playing against.

Cutter Gauthier, Mikael Granlund and Jeffery Viel also scored for the Ducks in the comeback victory that has them up 3-1 in the best-of-seven Western Conference first-round series.
