Kansas City Barbeque is already on the map, but a new BBQ museum coming to Crown Center will allow the rest of the world to learn about America’s favorite outdoor cooking pastime.

Kansas City, known for its rich barbecue tradition, is about to gain another accolade — the world’s first museum dedicated to barbecue. Set to open in the spring of 2025, the Museum of Barbecue will celebrate the city’s smoky culinary history and its place in the world of barbecue.
