Honda plants in the U.S. are already being outfitted with all manner of cutting-edge manufacturing gear for the Japanese carmaker's next-gen 0 Series electric vehicles.

For years, Honda has relied on hybrids — not so much EVs — to drive its electrified mission. All of that is about to change with the Honda 0 Series, a portfolio of new electric vehicles that will go into production over the next several years.

Honda has outlined its EV vision, which includes a dedicated platform and innovative manufacturing techniques. The 0 Series will feature a “thin, light, and wise” design with advanced technology for efficiency.
