Parade organizer Jeff Delatte said Wednesday morning that he is monitoring the weather forecast in coordination with the New Orleans Police Department.

Many have already marked their calendars for the Irish Channel Parade, but luck may not be on their side due to severe weather expected on Saturday, which is likely to push the parade back.
