The Met Office has warned of torrential downpours starting this Friday. A yellow weather warning comes into force at 6am on Friday, lasting 24 hours until 6am on Saturday. Heavy rain has been forecast across Shropshire as Storm Claudia sweeps in, with warnings of travel disruption and winds exceeding 40mph.
