Thursday marks the one-year anniversary of the tragic deaths of four Pepperdine students fatally struck on Pacific Coast Highway as they strolled to an event, and Friday the city of Malibu will host a news conference to discuss initiatives implemented over the past year to improve safety on PCH.

Four Pepperdine University students died and two others were hospitalized in a multi-car crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu Tuesday night.

Pepperdine students Niamh Rolston, Peyton Stewart, Deslyn Williams and Asha Weir, were killed on PCH in Malibu one year ago.
