The Sun had spent a year setting the stage to showcase WNBA basketball at TD Garden. When they do it again this summer, almost nothing will be the same.

The Connecticut Sun have been one of the best teams in the WNBA since they relocated from Orlando in 2003. They've made the playoffs and the WNBA Finals, multiple times over the last two decades, but still, their first championship eludes them.
