In turn, Gilgeous-Alexander set a few NBA marks in the loss, and the NBA announced the history he made after the game.

It wouldn’t really be a 2024-25 Utah Jazz game if the opponent didn’t pull off some historic feat or a player on the opposing team didn’t have a career night.

After the Thunder's loss, SGA revealed he wasn't satisfied with the performance, even though it was his second-ever 50-point game.

Of course, he was tied with fellow Canadian-born player Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets with one 50-point game, but after his incredible performance Wednesday night, Shai now stands alone at the top.
