The Trump administration released approximately $10.8 million for Connecticut after-school programs this week, a fraction of the more than $50 million in federal education funding that it withheld as part of a review to ensure spending aligned with President Donald Trump's priorities.

Connecticut and 25 other states filed a lawsuit Monday to force the federal government to release $6.8 billion in education funds that states say the Donald J. Trump administration has no right to
