FedEx said in June it's closing a station in the Greensboro area as part of a systemwide efficiency and streamlining initiative, eliminating 164 jobs.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A FedEx shipping center in Greensboro will close later this year. The company confirmed it plans to close the location along Old Oak Ridge Road, near the airport.
