IMD has forecasted the formation of a fresh cyclonic circulation over the North Andaman Sea around October 20.

As of Sunday morning, the upper air cyclonic circulation over the central Andaman Sea had shifted to the North Andaman Sea. The IMD stated that a Low Pressure Area is likely to form over the East-central Bay of Bengal and the adjoining North Andaman Sea within the next 24 hours.

A cyclonic storm is set to form over the Bay of Bengal, bringing heavy rain and strong winds to Bengal and coastal Odisha, with severe weather expected from October 23 to 26.
