Netflix chief creative officer Bela Bajaria denied reports that the streamer is looking to change its compensation model for streaming talent.

Imax has hired Netflix executive Jonathan Fischer as its new chief content officer, overseeing the company's content strategy across Hollywood and international films as well as documentaries, live events and theatrical experiences.

Imax has named Jonathan Fischer, a veteran exec who has held posts at Netflix, Illumination and New Regency, as its Chief Content Officer.

Fischer, most recently vp of content strategy & analysis, global films for Netflix, will be based in Playa Vista and report to Imax CEO Rich Gelfond. His appointment comes on the heels of Imax tapping Anne Globe as its new chief marketing officer to oversee all brand, film marketing, creative and social media for the company.
