Hein Schumacher, CEO of Unilever, said in a statement: “Unilever has today completed the sale of its Russian subsidiary to Arnest Group, a Russian manufacturer of perfume, cosmetics and household products. “The sale includes all of Unilever’s business in Russia and its four factories in the country.

Unilever has finalized the sale of its Russian and Belarus operations, including four factories, to local firm Arnest Group for an undisclosed amount. This move follows criticism for remaining in Russia post-Ukraine invasion and is part of CEO Hein Schumacher's broader strategy to restructure the company and improve performance.

“Unilever has today completed the sale of its Russian subsidiary to Arnest Group, a Russian manufacturer of perfume, cosmetics, and household products,” said Hein Schumacher, Unilever CEO. “The completion of the sale ends Unilever Russia’s presence in the country.”
