Rebekah A. Byler, a 23-year-old Amish woman who was about six months pregnant, was found shot to death on Feb. 26 at her residence in Sparta Township, Crawford County.
Rebekah Byler, 23, was pregnant, according to police. Her throat was cut and she had a "scalping type wound on her head," according to the probable cause affidavit.
Search warrant documents released over the weekend said 23-year-old Rebekah Byler suffered "multiple sharp force wounds" to her neck and was shot in the head during the Feb. 26 attack at her home.
