A sunny Sunday morning will turn partly cloudy during the afternoon. A fast-moving clipper system could bring more pockets of snow showers later Sunday evening into Monday morning. An accumulation of an inch or two is possible. There could be a bit more in the higher terrain of northern NH.

This will most likely return across the northwestern tier of Indiana first around 3 a.m. and into the Indy metro around 6 a.m. Wintry precipitation continues through the morning and will taper off after the lunch hour. Light, cold rain and drizzle will be the primary precipitation type along and south of the I-70 corridor.

After a few light showers of rain and snow this morning the skies cleared out allowing for a fairly nice and warm day. Temperatures will drop into the overnight hours leading to a colder day tomorrow.
Sunshine will return in greater amounts on Sunday, especially during the morning. Clouds will build during the afternoon with our next low pressure system entering Sunday night, providing snow showers across the state.
The National Weather Service issued a weather alert at 1:14 p.m. EST on Saturday for lake effect snow and showers until 3:15 p.m. EST for Antrim, Otsego, Montmorency, Chippewa and Charlevoix counties.
