The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a Wind Advisory for parts of Western Washington stretching from the Oregon border to north of Bellingham as a powerful storm reached the coast and started to move inland Monday morning.

Conditions around western Washington are relatively quiet Monday morning, but another round of heavy rains and gusty winds that could reach 60 mph in some areas will arrive in the afternoon. The National Weather Service (NWS) is forecasting moderate flooding for the Skokomish River near Potlatch and minor flooding for the Snoqualmie River near Carnation.
