Garrett Crochet finished off the first half of 2025 with a bang: a complete game shutout to extend the Red Sox' win streak to nine games.

All-Star Garrett Crochet pitched a three-hitter with nine strikeouts for his first career shutout and complete game, leading the Boston Red Sox past the Tampa Bay Rays 1-0 for their ninth straight victory.

In Crochet's first complete game of any sort, he allowed three hits, all singles, and struck out nine while not allowing a walk. “It’s incredibly satisfying,” he said.
