The Jets get wide receiver Garrett Wilson back for Sunday's matchup with the Cleveland Browns, but newly-acquired WR Adonai Mitchell is inactive.
The Jets, fresh off trading defensive starters Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams, found one of the least sustainable formulas for winning in their first game without either player, a 27-20 victory over the Cleveland Browns.
Wilson left in the second half on Sunday and did not return to the game. He limped off the field after an attempted diving catch, and coach Aaron Glenn confirmed after the victory that Wilson suffered another injury to the same knee that hampered him earlier in the year.
The glaring issuing for the Jets went wrong: The quarterback. New York beat Cleveland completely in spite of Justin Fields. He was brutal once again. No matter how you cut it, the Jets are still playing for their head coach in Aaron Glenn.
