SpaceX said it was pushing to Tuesday an evening launch attempt that could mean a sonic boom may rattle parts of Central Florida as the company aims to bring its booster back for a rare land recovery.

SpaceX is preparing to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida on Monday afternoon that will carry internet-beaming Starlink satellites into orbit.

A quiet, clear Wednesday night in Brevard County was brought to life by the bright glow and roar of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. The SpainSat NG-1 satellite launched right on time at 8:34 p.m. from Kennedy Space Center's Pad 39A.

SpaceX is targeting a Tuesday evening launch of its Maxar 3 mission from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Take off from Launch Complex 39A is expected to be at 6:07 p.m. with backup opportunities on Wednesday beginning at 5:42 p.

Depending on weather and cloud cover, rocket launches from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center or Cape Canaveral, Florida, can be seen from Daytona Beach to Melbourne to Vero Beach.
