A driver drove into a crowd in East Hollywood, injuring 36 people, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Police believe the crash was an intentional act.

At least 30 people were injured – seven of them critically – when a vehicle drove into a crowd waiting in line outside an East Hollywood nightclub early Saturday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

A vehicle rammed into a crowd of people waiting to enter a nightclub along a busy boulevard in Los Angeles early Saturday, injuring 30 people and leading bystanders to attack the driver, authorities said.

The incident took place near the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and Vermont Avenue in east Los Angeles.

A man has been arrested after police said he drove into a Los Angeles crowd and injured at least 30 people on Saturday, July 19. Fernando Ramirez, 29, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

At least seven people were in critical condition and six others were seriously injured in the incident, which occurred outside a club on Santa Monica Boulevard.
