A 36-year-old Lorain man is facing OVI, felony fleeing, felony drug possession, and speeding charges after leading Westlake police officers on a high-speed chase that ended when his pickup truck rolled over.

Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office Deputy Devin Jaramillo, 27, was shot Friday afternoon in the 12200 block of Southwest 128th Street after he responded to a traffic crash and was attacked by a suspect who used Jaramillo's own service weapon.

Three employees were fatally shot Saturday at a landscape supply business in northeast San Antonio, officials said, and the suspect was later found dead. The shooting occurred in the morning hours at a business on the northeast side of the city.

More than a month after he allegedly veered into freeway traffic, caused a three-car accident and then fled the scene, a Cleveland Heights man, 36, turned himself into police Nov. 5.

A cleaning lady was shot dead after mistakenly arriving at the wrong address for a cleaning appointment in Whitestown, Indiana, according to officials.

Police have been granted additional powers in part of Merseyside following attacks in which a 19-year-old man was shot and a boy, 15, was stabbed. The teenagers both remain in hospital in a serious but stable condition, with the section 60 powers covering an area of Knowsley, Merseyside Police said.

Chicago Police say they have responded to a call of gunshots fired at federal agents during immigration enforcement operations.

A 30-year-old man was arrested this week in North Dakota on arson charges in connection with an Oct. 19 Dallas fire that killed an elderly woman and a dog, authorities said. The suspect, Lamont Curtis Richardson, faces an arson of habitation charge and has been transferred to Stearns County Jail in Minnesota, according to Dallas police.
