Qualcomm has canceled its Snapdragon Dev Kit, the miniature Windows on Arm PC that was originally supposed to ship in June. In an email to customers, Qualcomm said the mini PC “has not met our usual standards of excellence” and orders will now be refunded.

Qualcomm has canceled the Snapdragon Dev Kit, its mini PC powered by a Snapdragon X Elite chip, and the company will be refunding all purchases.

Qualcomm canceled the Snapdragon Dev Kit & will offer refunds, as the product failed to meet its "standards of excellence". The unique Dev Kit was supposed to ship in June, and was one of the only Snapdragon X-powered mini PCs with an exclusive SKU.

Qualcomm's statement also says that "any material, if received" will not have to be returned—those lucky enough to have gotten one of the Dev Kits up until now may be able to keep it and get their money back, though the PC is no longer officially being supported by Qualcomm.

Still, it’d be nice to be able to get a mini PC with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X processors. Up until now the only option had been the Snapdragon Dev Kit, and now that it’s been discontinued, there aren’t any desktops featuring these chips.

Qualcomm confirmed in an email to customers that its mini PC with the Snapdragon X Elite processor is now dead.
