WWE will kickoff the Road to WrestleMania in Saudi Arabia when the Royal Rumble emanates from the country in 2026.

WWE Royal Rumble is reportedly coming to Saudi Arabia. Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble will be held in Saudi Arabia, per multiple WWE sources. This will mark the first time that the event will be held outside of the United States since it became a pay-per-view in 1989.

It was reported back in May that Saudi Arabia was hoping to land major WWE events to enhance the " strategic multiplatform partnership ," which included the Royal Rumble or even WrestleMania. At the time,

WWE needs to deliver a shock for one of it's 2025 Royal Rumble matches and give us a winner who isn't signed with the company.

A report has suggested that a current TNA Wrestling star could be a surprise entrant in the men's Royal Rumble match, following a recent tease made by him.

WWE has brought premium live events to Saudi Arabia each year since their ten-year agreement was signed in 2018. In recent years, the company has held King and Queen of the Ring events as well as Crown Jewel. Two television tapings took place in the country in 2024.
