The NFL Draft announcements are starting to roll in for Texas football players. Jaydon Blue, Kelvin Banks Jr. and Hayden Connor each announced their intent to make the jump to the pros and declare for the draft in 2025 on Sunday.

Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers has declared for the 2025 NFL draft, he announced Wednesday. Ewers, a redshirt junior with one season of eligibility remaining, led the Longhorns to the College Football Playoff semifinals in each of the last two years. In 36 games at Texas from 2022-24, he passed for 9,128 yards and 64 touchdowns.

The decision was largely expected after Ewers told ESPN last week that he didn’t plan to return to college football in 2025.
