Friday play at the PGA Tour’s Shriners Children's Open has been delayed by at least four hours due to high winds. The tour announced Friday morning that due to 50 mph winds in the Las Vegas area, the competition at TPC Summerlin was paused for two hours.

The PGA Tour remains out west in Las Vegas for the 2024 Shriners Children’s Open, the fourth of eight FedEx Cup Fall events, where Kim has won the past two events. The last player to win the same tournament three straight years on the PGA Tour is Steve Stricker in 2009-11.

Tom Kim has a chance to be the third three-time winner this century at the Shriners Children’s Open. Two years ago, Kim walked away with a three-shot victory at 24-under par and last year claimed the trophy at 20-under par again.
